3G Nexus 7 expected to land in “around 6 weeks”

Some breaking news for you Nexus 7 fans out there and we know there are plenty of you. A recent report claims Asus is planning to launch a 3G version of its HOT Nexus 7 tablet.A “very well-placed insider” has confirmed this is the case, and says that the company has already begun production on the new model.

I don’t know about you guys but we are very excited about this. No more MiFi or tethering to our nexus 7. Here’s the direct quote

“There’s not a huge amount to say… a 3G version of the Nexus 7 is coming, with no other hardware changes. Asus is currently ramping production in preparation for launch in around 6 weeks, with the exact launch date and territories still to be confirmed.”

As with all rumours don’t get to excited until the official word drops (easier said than done).

Are you guys hoping for a 3G Nexus 7 let us know below or on Facebook and Twitter
