Alcatel unveils its new Pixi 3 that can run 3 different OS’s

PixiThe affordable Pixi 3, the new soon to be released smartphone from Alcatel can not only run Windows Phone OS but Android OS and Firefox OS as well. The Pixi 3 comes in 4 different sizes: 3.5 inch, 4 inch, 4.5 inch and 5 inch. The smartphone doesn’t come with impressive specs, however. Alcatel haven’t  revealed other details about the smartphone yet but, will be revealing the smartphone at CES next week.

Once you have chosen the OS you want to run, there’s no going back to install one of the other OS’s. You won’t be able to switch between OSs on the Alcatel Pixi 3.  It’s worth mentioning that the smaller 3.5 inch Alcatel Pixi 3 will not be coming with LTE, but the other 4, 4.5 and 5” models will sport LTE support. We will make sure to share more details about the Alcatel Pixi 3 next week!

ALCATEL ONETOUCH Chief Marketing Officer Dan Dery said:

“Our users do not want complicated systems — they want something familiar from their work environment in the office, but also on a smartphone,”
