AMC issues apology to The Walking Dead fans

image

AMC has issued and official apology to fans of hit series The Walking Dead. Personally I think they should be apologising for killing my a character I have grown to love but the apology was for a different reason.

The apology arrives as AMC managed to spoil that characters death on social media shortly after the show finished airing on the East Coast. AMC infuriated fans as they posted a picture of Daryl holding Beth’s body on the official Walking Dead Facebook page. To add even less doubt to what fans where looking at the caption “RIP Beth” was also included.

The post has some very negative comments posted below and no wonder. AMC’s official apology is below but to be honest it’s a bit late for that.

We heard your feedback to last night’s post, and we’re sorry. With zero negative intent, we jumped the gun and put up a spoiler. Please know we’re going to work to ensure that, in the future, possible spoilers by official AMC social feeds are killed before they can infect, certainly before the West Coast (U.S.) broadcast of The Walking Dead. As always, thank you for watching, and keep the comments coming. We appreciate all of your support. #RIPSpoiler
