If you are the proud owner of the Galaxy S4 or Galaxy Note 3 then you will be happy to know that Android 4.4 KitKat over the air updates are starting to show on unlocked devices d some carrier versions this morning. The OTA update file ranges from 300-400MB in size, and brings these phones up to the latest version of Android, 4.4.2 KitKat. The update itself will add some subtle visual tweaks, including those lovely white notification bar icons. Other than that users will be happy to know they will now benefit from standard KitKat features like immersive mode, translucent notification bars, native cloud printing support and lock screen album art.

As you would the updates seem to trickle out so don’t panic if you aren’t receiving it yet. If you are impatient you could always connect your device up to your PC and try KIES. Either way let us know in the comments if you have received the update and what carrier etc you are on.
