When it comes to listening to music while out walking the dogs I find that a good radio player is all I what and the BBC iPlayer Radio meets all my needs.

BBC updated the iPlayer yesterday to version, and the reason we didn’t shoot this review up then is because we wanted to make sure the update hadn’t been detrimental to the original version. Well, we are pleased to report that it is working great.
This update provides increased reliability with audio stream playback. although the BBC is aware of the issues with Samsung’s S3, S2 and Note, it will not fix the firmware issue we are seeing with these Samsung devices.
The BBC said:

Thanks for the feedback so far, we are taking the issues with some Samsung devices (in particular S3, S2 and Note running 4.1.2) very seriously, and we are working with Samsung and the mobile operators to rectify this firmware bug as soon as possible.
