Here at Beginnerstech we’re huge fans of changing the home screen around a bit and creating a new user experience for our Android, be it smartphones or tablets. In a nutshell we bring you a new look for your Android handset and tell you which apps you’ll need if you want to mimic the feel. Some of these are a little easier to create than others and many of them can be tweaked to your hearts content. The following details are but the ingredients to which you can create your own delicious Android dish; your results will vary. Which is awesome!

If nothing else, this is a great way to discover new apps, widgets, icons, and more!

Why we love this Look:

We like this one if only because it’s a simple pair of widgets that you can download free of charge. You’ll need to install Ultimate Custom Widget (UCCW) first, but we’re pretty sure you’ve already done that.

You can use one or both of these widgets in your minimal designs, leaving pretty much everything else off the screen. On the other hand, you can add these to your own custom layout. Have an icon pack that features a rounded design? Mix this with those and see what you can come up with!

What you’ll need:

  • BT_GoolePlay

    Ultimate Custom Widget (FREE)

  • BT_GoolePlay
    Circular Emotions (FREE)
