I have been using G Cloud Backup from Genie9 for a while now on my HTC One and, just installed it on my Nexus 7.  They also have a G Cloud Apps Backup which requires ROOT access.
Although G Cloud Backup says “ It comes with FREE 1GB (which is enough for most devices) with the ability to earn up to 8 GB FREE” it doesn’t make it plain how you can earn upto 8gb! But all was made clear when I received a reply from Yousef Younis, G Cloud Support team member who told me that it show up on the Android app NOT on the Desktop.

Yousef Younis said:

To earn up to 8 GB for free on G-Cloud, please open G-Cloud on your smartphone, and tap the “Earn Free Space” button that is on the dashboard.
Then tap the buttons and win free space as you complete the tasks that are on each button.
On the PC site the data tab shows your devices from a dropdown list and categories from contact to browser data. The dashboard shows all your devices which has G Cloud Backup installed, here you see my HTC One and N7. The layout is clean and easy to read, which makes for quick and easy navigation around your categories and devices

You can set it to backup daily, weekly or monthly, Set the time to do the backup, I’ve set mine last thing at night.
