Have you ever wondered how Sir David Attenborough’s team films time lapse features of wildlife, flowers and landscapes etc. Then check this out, Lapse It Pro is a great App from Interactive Universe, it’s available on Google Play store for only £1.99.

The Lapse It Pro app works by taking pictures at certain intervals which can be set in milliseconds, seconds or minutes. Capture resolution can be set to of 240p, 480p, 720p, 1080p. There are even options for changing Focus mode, flash mode, colour effects, scene mode, white balance etc.

Once you have taken all the stills you need, its time to start rendering your project, now this bit as they say “were the magic happens”.

You now have the option to set your frame rate, the lower the frame rate, the slower the time lapse and a higher frame rate has the opposite effect.

The fun doesn’t stop there however, you have the choice of effect to apply, there is vivid, vintage, black & white, inverted and old film a.k.a sepia.
