Barclaycard helps to bring schoolchildren’s apps to life

Barclaycard has supported the launch of two new apps developed by schoolchildren as part of the Apps for Good initiative.  Both apps, Pockupation and Social Bank, will be unveiled at an awards ceremony for the winners at Canary Wharf in London on Thursday the 30th January 2014.
Barclaycard is a proud supporter of Apps for Good, providing funds and mentoring.   Apps for Good is an education programme, run in schools, which encourages students to devise an app idea that will help solve a problem they face in their everyday lives.  Through it they develop skills in team building, communication, problem solving and app development.
