Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Announced

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Announced

Finally after two years of shooting and looting, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, a spin off game thats set between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, has been announced.

This prequel comes from the collaboration with Gearbox and 2K Australia. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel introduces us to four new heroes — including, finally, a playable Claptrap. Athena, Wilhelm, and Sheriff join this motley crew as employees of Handsome Jack. The game is described as having more content than the original Borderlands, but less than Borderlands 2.

A key point is that any characters and progress from Borderlands and Borderlands 2 will not carry over into The Pre-Sequel, which has be set to release in Autumn 2014.

Want more information on what to expect from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, check out the developer overview video posted below:

Unfortunately, Gearbox are flat-out denying any development of a Borderlands 3 game.
