BT has today announced that the company had agreed to purchase EE for a whopping £12.5 billion ($19 billion). The talks between the two parties have been ongoing now since late last year and it has finally came to a head.
The acquisition will see BT make a return to the mobile operator market after a very long spell out. It’s also exciting for those of us on EE as we may have the possibility of bundling BT services like broadband and TV with our mobile contracts and hopefully in turn save some cash. We will be keeping a close eye on how this turns out so stay tuned, the full press release can be found by visiting the link below.
