If you are partial to using Linux from time to time and own a Chromebook then this may excite you. Google evangelist François Beaufort has taking to Google+ to let us know that Chrome OS now supports the running of LINUX in a window via the Crouten Chrome extension.

You will have to put your Chromebook into developer mode and be comfortable with a few commands line but overall the process is a breeze. Before this users would have to use virtual terminals and switch between Linux and Chrome OS, now you get the best of both worlds.

Let us know if you tried it out, I’m all over it.
