Dell has announced new tablets, the 8 and 11 inch models come in pro variations as well. Both are Windows 8.1 based tablets.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro is the essential companion to connect, share and access content with ease. The Windows 8.1 tablet features a lightweight and thin design to easily hold in your hand and take on the go. Powered by Intel’s Atom Quad-core processor, the Venue 8 Pro’s architecture offers powerful performance the ability to run multiple apps at once. The Venue 8 Pro is the thinnest 8-inch Windows 8-based tablet available, has a bright HD IPS display, advanced connectivity options and long battery life.

The Venue 11 Pro offers ultimate 2-in-1 flexibility, with the power of an Ultrabook, and the convenience of a variety of keyboard options to work in the way that works best. The Venue 11 Pro also features a removable battery, and enterprise-class configuration and security feature options for full integration into the corporate environment.

Dell told us in a email that, the Venue 11 will be available to order from next month. Pricing for the Venue 11 Pro starts at £349 (excluding VAT) and pricing for the Venue 8 Pro will be available in the coming weeks.
