EE 4G 300Mbps tests start in London’s Tech City



EE have switched on “The world’s fastest 4G Network offering speeds upto 300MBPS” in the Tech City business area of London.

EE have also confirmed that customer trials will begin in early December, with offices in the area being able to access the mobile Wi-Fi service. Plans are to then expand its reach across London in 2014.

Olaf Swantee who announced the switching on of the service at the Huawei Global Mobile Broadband Forum in London siad:

“Today is about introducing the next age of 4G mobile technology to the UK. The network we’re switching on today in Tech City is the first part of an infrastructure that can meet the future demands of increasingly data-hungry consumers and businesses, and enable completely new ways of doing business.”
