EE Flicks The Switch On 4G+ In London

EE customers in London will be enjoying blazing fast 4G+ speeds of up to 150Mbps on their smartphones and tablets as of today as EE flicks the switch on at 150 sites across London.

With the completion of it’s 4G+ (LTE-A) network in the city EE say users will see speeds of up to 90Mbps and possibly achieving speeds of up to 150Mbps on a compatible device of course. Compatible devices with an LTE Category 4 modem and above, examples are the Xperia Z3, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Alpha and HTC One M8.

EE’s new network is available across large parts of central London, including Shoreditch, Old Street, Southbank, Soho, Westminster and Kensington. The carrier has also said it expects to have full 4G+ coverage in London by June 2015, with other cities like Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester getting upgraded afterwords.
