EE outs £99 4G tablet as competition heats up

EE has responded to Vodafone releasing their £125 Smart Tab 4G by pricing their latest 4G tablet at only £99. EE has released the vibrant Alcatel ONE TOUCH Pop 7S making it the cheapest pay-as-you-go 4G slate in the UK according to EE.

For £99 you cant expect top specs but the Alcatel ONE TOUCH Pop 7S  comes with a 7-inch WSVGA 1024 x 600 display, Android 4.3 (But Android 4.4 KitKat is available via an OTA update), a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8926 processor, 1GB of RAM, 3-megapixel rear and 0.3 front facing cameras, 8GB storage (with microSD support) and a 3240 mAh battery. EE is sweetening the deal by throwing in 100MB of free data every month if you buy your tablet before January 31st.

So as always competition between companies means better deals for consumers.
