EE has just launched a brand new super affordable 4G smartphone named the Rook. The Rook will cost you just £39 if you are already an EE customer but new customers will have to pay an extra £10.

The Rook runs Android 5.1, features a 5-MP shooter, 4-inch display, 8GB internal storage (with microSD expansion), 64-bit MediaTek 1GHz quad-core processor, and a 1,500mAh battery. The specifications are far from mind blowing but at this price its certainly a worthwhile purchase for those on pay as you go. The full details can be found in the press release below.
