Endomondo for BlackBerry 10 and New Social Features for Android and iOS

With the latest release on Android, BlackBerry 10 and iPhone, we are offering a few new features, which make working out more fun and social. It’s now possible to tag friends you’ve done a workout with, add photos and a status message right from the app after the workout is finished. And it’s also possible to share the social content to your Facebook Timeline if you like.

Endomondo App Available on BlackBerry 10

The app currently works on BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 and we plan to support future BlackBerry 10 phones as they become available.

The free version of Endomondo contains all the most popular features: real-time GPS tracking for multiple physical activities, a history of workouts, route mapping, ability to deliver pep-talks to friends exercising, access to the growing Endomondo social community, challenges and much more. A full BlackBerry 10 feature list is available here.

The app is a ported version and on par with Endomondo for iOS and Android. We know that some of you had hoped for a native BlackBerry 10 app. But as we have spent several years on developing our Android and iPhone apps, we decided to go with a ported Android version for BlackBerry 10 in order to offer you a full Endomondo experience instead of starting just with a basic tracker for BlackBerry 10.

BlackBerry 10 users wishing to access more advanced functionality have the option of upgrading to Endomondo Premium which is a subscription solution based on monthly or yearly payments. Premium offers more than 10 additional features that include: interval training, workout graphs within the mobile app, beat yourself challenges, weather information, and a great deal more. The current Endomondo Premium subscription rate is only for US at $2.99/month or $19.99/yr. Please note that heart rate features are currently not supported by BlackBerry 10 app.
