Facebook Home may be coming to iPhone

Bloomberg is reporting that Facebook is in talks with Apple about creating a version of “Home” for iPhone.

Facebook home was released this month for Android users who wanted the full Facebook experience. When I say full I mean full, when installed your phone pretty much turns into Facebook, displaying photos on the lock screen and “chat heads” can popup anywhere on your device.

Adam Mosseri, the director of product at Menlo Park has said talk are ongoing but no plans have been finalised, he says “We’ve shown them what we’ve built and we’re just in an ongoing conversation.”

This isn’t the first time we have heard about ‘Home’ on iOS. At a question and anawer session after the unveiling if the software CEO Mark Zuckerberg expressed interest in bringing Home to iOS. He went on to say that creating an iOS version would be a lot harder as they would have to work with Apple.

“It may or may not be Home,” he said. “We could also just bring some of the design values to the iOS app. That might be how it ends up. Or we could build just the lock screen. Maybe then it’s not called Home, it’s called something else.”

So that’s all we know at the minute but If any other news drops we will update you.
