Feedly reaps the benefits of Google Reader’s demise

When Google Reader went down the tubes Feedly promised users a “seamless transition”, and that promise seems to have worked. The newsfeed service reported on its Blog that more than 500,000 Google Reader users have joined it’s ranks. Feedly has became so popular that it has multiplied it’s bandwidth ten times over and added new servers to cope with the sudden wave of new users. Feedly seems to be happy with the new users and has promised to keep the service up as much as possible while it is still growing and also listen to suggestions and add new features on a weekly basis. If you still haven’t found a Google Reader alternative why not give Feedly a try?

Did you make the transition? Let us know what you think below.
