SkyDrive backup of full resolution photo and video from Windows Phone 8 now available worldwide

Finally, another windows phone 8 key feature is becoming available for any windows phone 8 user, anywhere in the world. As always, creating a back up of any kind of important data is a must. It doesn’t matter whether its for personal or professional purposes, no one likes the idea of loosing it. Thousands of windows phone 8 users have been enjoying the ability of having their pictures and videos automatically uploaded to SkyDrive in their original size and quality since they got their wp8 phone, but unfortunately, there were many markets around the globe where this important feature had been missing. Not any more though.

As Aaron Sauvé, a senior program manager on the Windows Phone camera and photos team writes in his post:

“Today I am pleased to announce that we’re making the ability to back up full-res photos and videos available everywhere. (We just started to light this up, so be patient if you don’t see it right away. The change could take a few days to roll out around the globe.)”

Now, the next thing many people, including myself, are waiting for, is to be able to back up our creations not only over the WiFi network, as it is at the moment, but also over our mobile network, should we wish to do so.

I have always been fascinated by computers, mobile phones, game consoles and other gadgets. After getting my first pc and looking for help on the internet and in pc magazines, I’ve realized that there were always lots of people like me, who needed help or advise. Because of my quickly expanding knowledge I soon became the tech guy for my family members, neighbours, colleagues and later even people I have never seen before. I decided to start writing, so I can share my opinions, my excitement and everything I know with people who either need help, or with the ones who love technology as much as I do. I am, and always have been a windows phone fan, but I do get equally excited about any new or old gadget I can get my hands on.
