Gameloft has 10 games ready for Nexus Player launch day

Nexus player

Gameloft announced today that it has worked closely with Google to bring ten of its games to the Nexus player, successfully shoring up the device’s launch day gaming catalog. If you are lucky enough to snatch up one of the streaming devices, you should be able to peruse the publisher’s offerings from your couch starting right away.

Gameloft has always been committed to making sure their games are compatible with the different platforms and the Nexus Player is no different. While speaking of the Nexus Players launch, Gameloft’s VP of Publishing Baudouin Corman has said:

We’re committed to delivering amazing game experiences to our millions of players on promising new platforms. “With cross platform gameplay for several Gameloft titles, players will be able to enjoy their favorite games on the big screen, phone, and tablet.

With that said they have ensured 10 titles will be ready for users to download and play on the Nexus Player on launch day. The list of games you’ll have access to are as follows:

Despicable Me: Minion Rush
Asphalt 8: Airborn
Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour
Modern Combat 5: Blackout
GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience
Dungeon Hunter 4
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Wonder Zoo
Ice Age Village
World at Arms

This is great news and I certainly can’t wait to play favourites like Modern Combat on the big screen to test how good the Nexus Player really is. Any of these titles catch your eye? Let us know.
