If you are a GarageBand user you will be happy that it has been given an update today. The new update to version 1.4 adds Audiobus compatibility, letting it work with pretty much all of Korgs iPhone offerings including Animoog, Samplr and ThumbJam.

All the sounds that you now create on those apps can now record directly into GarageBand assuming that you are using a compatible device like iPhone 4S, iPod touch 5th-gen and iPad 2 or later. If you want to let loose and get creative hit the source link up. The official release notes are below.

Play and record music apps supported by Audiobus directly into GarageBand*
• Turn off grid snapping to get finer control over region and note editing
• Fixes an issue that resulted in feedback while connecting 3rd-party audio accessories into the headphone/microphone jack

* Requires iPhone 4S, iPod touch (5th generation), iPad 2 or later. Audiobus requires a separate purchase.
