GarageBand is the go to app for a lot of musicians on iOS devices and it looks set to be included for free. Apple has recently updated the icons for it’s iLife and iWork apps giving them that fresh iOS 7 look and according to the guys over at MacRunours the update page also notes that Apple’s music making suite will become a complimentary download. As with everything great there is a slight catch and that is that individual instruments and sounds will have to be paid for via in-app purchases. If this turns out to be true it allows everyone with an iOS device to unleash there inner rock star but let’s hope the in-app purchases don’t end up costing us more than the original full experience did. We should probably know for sure by the end of the week.
