Google Drive for iOS updated, finally we get landscape editing

Google Drive for iOS received what I can only call a major update today. If like me you use Google Drive a lot you may have noticed that you could only edit documents in portrait mode. This absolutely shattered my nerves at times as typing in this orientation with large hands causes all sorts of mistakes. I can honestly say this caused me to lose patience more than a few times as. Version 1.30 finally puts an end to this and bring’s landscape mode editing to docs and spreadsheets. Other updates include “minor bug fixes” and speeding up of Google Doc support in general. Usually I wouldn’t report on a small update but I feel this is life changing (over reaction maybe?). If you haven’t got the update hit the App store icon below.
