Google Maps for iOS Gets Faster Navigation and More

Google Maps for iOS received an update today that brings easier access to the navigation function, including route and traffic overview.

You can now get right to the navigation menu after you type in a search query, as well as get an instant look at the traffic overview without having to enter in any additional information. It makes Google Maps a bit more speedy to use. Likewise, you can now access the tips and tricks section right from the app’s side menu in case you forget how to do anything. This include tips on saving your home address, getting offline maps, and more.
