Google to release Android 5 on November 3rd to Nexus devices

android-lollipop-forestAfter all the hype of the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 release details, Google have announced that Android 5 (Lollipop) will start rolling out to all Nexus devices from the Nexus 4 up on November 3rd.

It also looks like the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 will be first in line as these are Wi-Fi devices only and easier to update.

Other manufacturers and networks will have to test the software before they release it alongside updates of their own software for their machines, although HTC have already stated that Android Lollipop would start arriving “within 90 days of receiving final software from Google.”

Being that they have the OS for installing on the Nexus 9 surely they would release it well before the 90 days.
