Honor release trail of Android 4.4.2 for the 3C

huawei_honor_3c_1_As of today, users of the Honor 3C smartphone can sign up for a trial of the Android 4.4.2 software taking advantage of Honor’s ongoing commitment to its users. Key improvements of the software include the update to the Honor customer Android skin EMUI 3.0, offering a more dynamic display design, and the BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), designed to connect smartwatches and smartbands to the device using considerably reduced power than standard Bluetooth.


To enter the trial Honor 3C users need to sign up to the Honor Club and e-mail Honor with the subject line ‘FUT’ giving their IMEI number and a reason why they want to be the first adopters of the new software. They will be then selected by Honor to receive the trial software as on over-the-air update by April 27, 2015. Following the test process and based on the feedback from initial users from Germany, France and The Netherlands, Honor will release the software update to all Honor 3C users and additionally will update the SD (memory) card in June.
