HP to release Slatebook 14” Android laptop

This has come as a surprise, HP are to release a 14” Android laptop. The news came via Notebook Italia.
Although HP hasn’t yet officially announced the Slatebook 14, we expect they over the next week or so, now it’s out in the open.
Think of a laptop with a keyboard slightly modified to run the Android OS, featuring a Home button, Recent apps button, that we know of.
Features include:

  • 14-inch Full HD Touchscreen,
  • Three USB slots,
  • HDMI slot,
  • MicroSD card slot,
  • SIM card for always on cellular connectivity,
  • Quad-core Tegra processor,
  • 2GB of RAM,
  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Beats Audio integration,
  • Jelly Bean implementation, judging from the clock widget’s font.

HP’s classic yellow and black scheme looks great on the Slatebook 14.
