HP Upwrap it’s Android Powered Slate 21 Pro

Slate21_proHP has just taken the wraps off of its own All-in-One Desktop Android powered model. Namely the Slate 21 Pro, the device is an all-in-one targeted at business users although we can see small home office users coming on board. HP’s biggest selling point with the device is the fact that it comes pre-loaded with a assortment of services and apps, including:

  • Kingsoft Office,
  • Evernote,
  • Skype,
  • HP Classroom Manager,
  • 50GB of lifetime Box storage,
  • Citrix Receiver for remote Windows access.

You also have access to the full Google Play Store for apps.

As for specifications, the Slate 21 Pro is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and is running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It has a Full HD, IPS touchscreen display, as well as integrated BlueTooth and WiFi and an HD webcam.

The Android-powered HP Slate21 Pro AiO is designed for productivity in office, education and kiosk environments. It features a 21.5-inch diagonal Full HD IPS touch screen with wide 178-degree viewing angles, plus a comfortable and intuitive Android touch experience. Its stand design allows up to 70 degrees of adjustable recline and optional VESA mounting, making it flexible enough for a variety of work environments.

HP is heavily marketing the device towards businesses, schools, kiosks, and hotels. The device is available now for $399, and includes a keyboard and mouse.
