HTC have just increased their apps by one on Google Play. Now they have put their Browser, although the app is called HTC Internet on the play store.
The Browser joins Camera, BlinkFeed, Gallery, Lock Screen, Sense TV, Service Pack and Weather, on Google Play. it may come as a surprise that the Browser app is only now joining the party. But better late than never, right?
HTC’s reasoning behind adding apps to the Play Store is simple. It give them a quick and easy way to update them rather than through the OTA option and relaying on carriers. Now unbungling them make things rather simple. The Play Store is an infinitely faster delivery mechanism than over-the-air updates. Patches and enhancements can be dispatched instantaneously, a great proposition for both HTC and device owners.
HTC have said on their description:
Browsing is fast and smooth with HTC Browser. Text Reflow automatically adjusts text to fit the screen for different zoom levels. The new layout is clean and fun, and enjoying multimedia content is simple via download manager.
- Text reflow: Depending on zoom levels, text will be wrapped to fit the width of the screen for easy browsing.
- Read later: Save an article to read later, even when connection is off.
- Redesigned interface that’s clean and easy to read.
It’s compatible with smartphones and tablets running Sense and Android Kit Kat or higher.
