HTC One’s new Duo Camera, revealed on Aussie website

Thanks to the guys over at GSM Arena we have some insight into the so-called Dual Camera will allow the user to choose the focus point and create subjective aesthetic quality of out-of-focus areas of aphotographic images. The camera will also enable 3D effects. We’re not quite sure what “effects means but presumably more than just 3D photos and videos.

Adjustable focus since Nokia released the Refocus app has become very popular and, all flagships have it – including the Galaxy S5, Xperia Z2 and LG G Pro 2 . With two cameras on board the 2014 One should mean better multiple shots and yield better results.

HTC’s seems to think that the dual camera is the way to go and, we hope they’re right, we still don’t have many details – camera resolution, optical stabilization, video resolution and so on. The dual-LED, dual color flash is a lock though.
Feature of the “All New HTC One” that the Telstra brochure details are the 5″ 1080p screen, BoomSound speakers on the front and double tap to wake.
The phone will cost AUD 840 (RRP) off-contract, which is $760 / €550.
