HTC rolls out Android 4.4 KitKat + Sense 5.5 for Desire 601

HTC Desire 601 smartphone has started receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat update. As part of the same software, users will also get Sense 5.5 which may not be as cool as the brand-new Sense 6.0 but it’s nice, nevertheless.
The update includes:
BlinkFeed options,
Updated camera and gallery apps,
Video highlights,
New Zoe,
DND mode,
Quick Settings,
Scribble app.
Along with the Sense 5.5 there is the usual bug fixes, tweaks and performance improvements that should make for a that much better user experience.

It seems the first place to get the new software will be Singapore, with other countries follow over the next few weeks. Furthermore, this update is coming to both single- and dual-SIM variants. To manually check whether the new firmware is awaiting – go to “Settings >> About phone >> Software updates.
