iPhone 6 and 6 Plus made official by Apple

As always we have had many months of leaks ahead of this years iPhone event and this year we even knew what the iPhone 6 was going to look like. Apple’s Tim Cook has today made it all official at Apple’s Cupertino event as they unveiled the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

“Today we are launching the biggest advancement in the history of the iPhone”


As all the rumours pointed out Apple fans are being treated to two iPhone’s this year. The iPhone 6 comes in at 4.7-inches and the iPhone 6 Plus 5.5-inches. The smaller iPhone 6 arrives with a 1334×750 resolution display while the plus rocks a full HD 1920X1080 display giving a ppi of 326 and 401 respectively. Having a bigger screen does not mean that the iPhone is bulky elsewhere as the iPhone 6 is 6.9mm thick while the iPhone 6 Plus only goes up to 7.1mm.

The iPhone 6 will arrive in silver, black and gold and we will bring more information as it arrives during the event so stay tuned.
