Is this the Nexus 5?

Let me start this by saying take everything you see here with a pinch of salt. The render above of what purports to be the Nexus 5 has been doing its rounds on the web, along with what can only be described as a dream spec list.

The image first appeared on Android and Me and was sent to them by an anonymous source claiming to work for Google. They have said the new Nexus is due for release around October, and Google is currently evaluating several prototypes from different manufacturers.

Now for the good stuff, this spec list will blow you away but it sounds to good to be true. The Nexus 5 is said to have a 5.2-inch OLED display with 1,920×1,080 resolution. The innards are even better with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, clocked at 2.3GHz and a crazy 3GB of RAM. Storage is said to be increased to 64GB and the 16MP camera it will be packing is said to be capable of capturing 4K video. As I said up top take all this with a pinch of salt but that said it is good to dream.

Just to stir things up a little bit more the reliable twitter account @evleaks tweeted “LG Nexus 5 looks pretty hot, if that was just it…” They then tweeted “I had to beg to say even that much :P”. So with all that said we are unsure if this is real or not but it sure does sound awesome.
