It is HTC’s turn to take a pop at Samsung

Yesterday we seen Apple take a pop at Samsung and now it seems HTC want to have a go. As people were waiting for the doors to open for Samsung’s Unpacked event HTC decided it would be fun to give out hot chocolate and snacks to the crowd while showing off the HTC one to the masses.

What’s more is the Taiwanese company tool to Twitter during the event and poked fun at Samsung with a tirade of tweets including the hash tag “#thenextbigflop” to mock Samsung’s “The Next Big Thing” slogan.

To make things even worse Engadget is reporting that HTC’s fresh CMO Ben Ho got in touch to say that the again plastic Galaxy S4is just “more of the same”, and that his company’s “all-aluminium unibody HTC One” with “original cutting-edge technology, mouth-watering design and premium feel” is what the people want. The full statement is below:

“With a continuation of a plastic body, and a larger screen being the most obvious physical change, Samsung’s new Galaxy pales in comparison to the all-aluminum unibody HTC One.

“This is more of the same. HTC remains the best option for those people looking for the best technology wrapped in premium design. Our customers want something different from the mainstream, who appear to be the target for the Galaxy.

“Our customers want original cutting-edge technology, mouth-watering design and a premium feel from their mobiles, which is why we created the HTC One.”

Look like HTC don’t follow there “Quietly Brilliant” slogan anymore.
