BAINDAI NAMCO’s Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle is now available for everyone to play on the Play Store! **Fanboy Nerdgasm

I was overcome with nostalgia when I saw Dokkan in the Play Store and to be honest with you, I spent the entire weekend playing this game—it’s that addicting! You get to play as your favorite DBZ characters like Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, and the list goes on and on (to get characters you must have Dragon Stones NOT Dragon Balls)–there’s someone for everyone, you won’t be disappointed.

As much as I love this game, it’s not perfect. First, there’s way to much dialogue. “The story begins when Trunks’ Time Machine crash-lands on a planet where the Dragon Ball timeline has been thrown into chaos!” If you want to follow the story, be my guest. Or, just skip it (trust me, you’re not missing anything). Most of the time, you’ll be in this board-game like place where you will collect “various items and power-ups to strengthen your team and steel yourself for the battles ahead!” I’m not saying I hate this…no! I just wish there was less board-game and more action. That’s just my opinion. One last thing I didn’t like about Dokkan is having to play the game on Wi-Fi. What if I want to kill some time while waiting at the doctors, what am I supposed to do then?

Besides those few flaws, the game awesome to play. You get to create your dream team and battle against “formidable adversaries” and level up to become the strongest. You battle by tapping on Ki Spheres then you watch “magic” happen…

Pretty cool right!

This is my current team.

Overall, the game is a must play for DBZ fans.
