LG G Pro 2 set to have ‘OIS Plus’ camera with slow motion and UHD video capabilities

LG has already told us that they will be announcing the G Pro 2 at this years Mobile World Congress event. To wet our appetite that little bit more LG have just released some details on what to expect from the G Pro 2’s imaging capabilities.

LG has covered 4 main areas with their latest news the first being the “OIS Plus” technology for stills. This technology expands on the software found on the LG G2’s camera and adds software based image stabilization. This should result in shots being much clearer. Also included is 20-shot burst mode which will combine all shots into one single photo for new effects.

The video software is also getting overhauled by LG and they say the G Pro 2 will feature UHD (Ultra High Definition) capabilities also know as 4K and will be able to capture at 3840×2160 resolution. In addition to this the G Pro 2 will also be able to capture 1.4 times slow motion video. We may have seen UHD before but I know a lot of our readers are hoping to see this roll out to the new flagships.

That’s all the details we have at present but the G Pro 2 certainly has our interest and we look forward to seeing it in action at MWC 14.
