LG unveils it’s latest Android Wear device the LG Watch Urbane

LG has today unveiled it’s latest Android Wear smartwatch, well they have made the LG G Watch R more formal and stylish with an all metal design and tagged it the “LG Watch Urbane”. LG say that the new look is “designed for a sophisticated and cosmopolitan wearer,” and it certainly looks the part. The LG Watch Urbane will be available in gold or silver, it’s still a standard 22mm model, so you’ll be able to swap out straps if you like. Other than that LG has trimmed down a few parts including a slimmer bezel, overall size and thickness. The new stainless steel handle also has better protection against scuffs, scratches and corrosion.

Spec-wise, you’re pretty much looking at the same as the original G Watch R, including a 1.3-inch, 320×320 Plastic OLED display, which I would say is still one of the best smartwatch displays we have seen to date. The full spec sheet and press release are below.
