Lollipop starts rolling out to Galaxy S5 in the UK

image

Samsung is rolling out Android Lollipop to Galaxy S5 users in the UK following in from the rollout on Poland, Russia, Malaysia and Spain. If you have a Galaxy S5 then it’s time to jump into settings and start smashing that check for update button.

The update brings the build number to LRX21T and will give users that Android 5.0 experience we have all grown to love. The update will bring a number of changes like lock screen and heads up notifications. There are also changes to the fingerprint scanner which now has a Galaxy Note 4 style unlock method.

Remember if you aren’t seeing the update in settings you can always connect your device up to Kies.
