Mega cloud storage gets an official BlackBerry 10 app

Most of us are always looking for more storage, with more phones coming without removable storage cards, it becomes a necessity. I find it very handy to have a second option even though my Q10 has the sdcard. If you’re looking for some additional cloud storage for your BlackBerry 10 device, you’ll be pleased to know the official MEGA app has been released into BlackBerry World. MEGA developers have taken the Android version of the app and ported it over so it all plays nicely on BlackBerry systems. You will however need to have BlackBerry 10.2.1 on your phone.

MEGA is a secure cloud storage service that gives you 50GB for free. Unlike other cloud storage providers, your data is encrypted and decrypted by the client devices only and never by us.   Your data is accessible any time, from any device, anywhere. Share folders with your contacts and see their updates in real time.

So just to remind you, MEGA is available for all BlackBerry 10 devices according to the BlackBerry World listing, though you will need BlackBerry 10.2.1. Just hit the link below for BlackBerry 10 and PlayBook app.
