Microsoft confirms W10M Technical Preview will be able to roll back

windows-10-technical-preview1aMicrosoft’s head of the Insider program, Gabriel Aul,  had previously said they are working on the ability to roll back from the installation of the Windows 10 Mobile (W10M) technical preview to Windows Phone 8.1. Now it looks like we are very near to seeing this happen. It’s important, particularly in view of reports that the current builds have significant bugs, such as Wi-Fi signal dropping off, Network signal dropping in mid-call and rapid battery drain.

Gabriel Aul  confirmed on twitter that the feature will be available when the preview does roll out.

Yes, we’ll have a recovery tool to roll back for all phones that are supported for the preview.

And in a later tweet Gabriel Aul said, Microsoft will be releasing the video and the build together.

@joebelfiore There is this video currently, new video will be available this week, Or maybe, we’re going to release the video along with the build…

We can’t wait to see the next video
