Microsoft’s Cortana app for Android leaks out early

cortana2-640x390Microsoft haven’t officially released Cortana for Android yet but one enterprising soul has. It’s now on the APKMirror site, (link below.)   Cortana_Kelpies2Cortana isn’t officially due for release before the end of July.  We have no idea how Cortana was leaked or from whom but Microsoft’s personal assistant is already functional, ready for use.
The leaked Cortana is the same as the Windows 10 version so expect to see the same features. And as with most digital voice assistants, you can ask Cortana almost any question, request for it to search for news, the weather, sports results, or set reminders among other tasks.

The leaked version of Cortana seems to be a BETA version although it appears to be working well in the trials we have conducted. The version actually is said to be working better than one on Windows 10 as per Finland Mobile who tested the app recently.

As we would expect Microsoft hasn’t responded to anything related to this leak yet but, you’ll bet they are not happy.

We must remind you that although the .APK seems to be working well you install it AT YOUR OWN RISK.
