Microsoft’s smartwatch could be just weeks away

Microsoft looks set to release it’s first serious smartwatch competitor in the next few weeks. The news arrives as anonymous sources for Forbes say that Microsoft’s next smartwatch will be able to passively track your heart rate and work across several mobile platforms. The fact that it will passively track your heart rate is great news as it will certainly be better for battery life and sources say it will allow users two days of regular use.

Could a Windows smartwatch really have an impact on the competition? Making it available across several mobile platforms is certainly the best way to go about it. What do you think? Let us know below.
