The HTC One Max should be announced in the next week or so, but by the time it’s announced we’ll know everything about it. The most recent leaks come in the form of One Max photos from Chinese site Weibo. They confirm some of the rumored details about the device. These images show us the 5.9-inch HTC One Max in sharp detail. The fingerprint scanner is clearly visible on the back of the smartphone. There are charging contacts on the bottom right edge of the phone which could be used with some kind of dock accessory. The software looks like Sense 5 running on top of Android, so no surprises there. The Android and Sense versions on this prototype are listed as “protected” so we don’t know version numbers. You can check out these leaked images below.
There was another leak from Anqu.com of a retail slide for the HTC One Max that pretty much confirm the device specs. The retail material that you see above was originally found on Weibo as well. Previous rumors about the processor, RAM, and the fingerprint scanner are now out in the open. Here’s the spec rundown:
- 5.9-inch full HD display
- 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor
- 2GB of RAM
- Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5
- Ultrapixel camera
- 2.1MP front camera
- NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
- 32/ 64GB of storage
- 3300 mAh battery
All that we need is for HTC to announce the One Max. The rumored global announcement date is set for October 15th, so we don’t have very long to wait.
