It seems the new Nexus 7 is receiving an update in the form if Build JSS15Q. This update is been pushed out as a result of the ongoing touchscreen issues that users have been reporting.
The update has been congirmed by Google’s Paul Wilcox on the company’s product forum and had the following to say to those with the new Nexus 7
As a couple of you have mentioned, there’s a new system update that’s started rolling out for your Nexus 7s. This update does address the touchscreen issues discussed in this thread. If you’re one of the people experiencing touchscreen issues, please let us know how it’s going after you’ve received and installed the update.
If you’re not seeing anything on your Nexus 7 yet don’t panic. This is the usual process for Google updates as they roll out in stages and you should have the update withing the next few days.
