Nexus 5 pricing revealed Plus Release Date Confusion

Over the last few days we have seen a prototype video and leaked images

According to website AndroidGeeks the price of the Nexus 5 will be $399 for the 16 GB and $449 for the 32 GB model. The Nexus 4 had prices of $299 and $349 respectively, so why the price hike?

Well it seems that this is to do with the Nexus 4 LTE that will, apparently be launched alongside the Nexus 5, all very confusing.
Why launch the Nexus 4 LTE at the same time, I just don’t understand Google thinking.

That fact that Google and LG won’t even have to change anything inside the old Nexus 4 is annoying as the Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset already comes with a 4G LTE chip. When the Nexus 4 was initially launched along with Android 4.2 there was a way to unofficially enable 4G LTE by accessing the “Phone info” menu from the dial pad, but the Android 4.2.2 update has killed the unofficial 4G LTE mode for Nexus 4.

AS these are ‘again’ Rumours you can believe them or not.

Nexus 5 Release Date

The latest news on the release date seems like the launch event has been moved to a later date since Google didn’t send out any invitations. As for the date itself we just don’t know but, as ever as soon as we do, we will you let you know.
