O2 brings LG’s L30 entry-level smartphone to the UK

lg-l30-red-dealsO2 has brought entry-level smartphone, the LG L30, to the UK on its Pay and Go tariffs, available in red exclusively to O2.

For those who want to step up from a feature phone but don’t want (or need) to pay for a top-of-the-range smartphone, the LG L30 offers great functionality for just £49.99.

With a compact 3.2 inch screen and running Android Kit Kat 4.4.2, the handset offers a touch-screen keyboard enabling easier email on the move. In addition, the phone offers access to a wider range of apps and other Play Store services alongside 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded with microSD removable storage.

The offer of “smartphone functionality at a feature phone price” and the fact that the LG L30 comes with 3G and WiFi connectivity means that it’s internet-ready. The result is a device for those who primarily want a phone for voice and text messages, but also want occasional access to Facebook, Twitter, maps or the web.

All of this comes in a handset that, with 700 hours standby time and 600 mins talk time, will also suit those who don’t want a handset they have to re-charge on a daily basis.
