OnePlus One release date pushed back again

OnePlus has again delayed the handset everyone is waiting for. The news arrived as early adopters of the flagship handset received emails informing them that the OnePlus One will be delayed while the team behind the software CyanogenMod perform a few updates. A Member of the CyanogenMOD team took to Reddit yesterday to clarify that this software update is essential to ensure that the  HeartBleed OpenSSL vulnerability has been patched prior to arriving with consumers.

Although many people including myself may be upset by the news it is essential that this update is performed as security is essential in this day and age. Unfortunately we have no timescale on how long this process will take so I guess we just sit tight and wait for word.

Are you an early adopter? Let us know below what you think about the new delay.
