OUYA console gets the iFixit teardown treatment, shows that it is highly repairable


It was only a matter of time before the teardown masters over at iFixit got there hands on the OUYA console now that they are shipping. In its usual style the took every piece of the Android gaming console apart and stated that it has ” a very clean and simple layout.” The full teardown clearly shows that it is a fairly easy job to take the OUYA apart if you are that way inclined. The OUYA scored a respectful 9 out of 10 on the Repairability meter, probably due to the fact that only standard-head screws are used to keep it together.
